Who Is Heaven’s Dave?
Heaven’s Dave is a one-man acoustic project dedicated to reviving historic Christian hymns—not by modernizing their theology, but by reimagining their sound. Every track is just voice and acoustic guitar. No synths, no loops, no band. The goal isn’t production—it’s presence.

What began as a quiet passion project has become a focused mission:
To give old words a new voice—and let timeless truth reach a distracted world.
Why Hymns?
Hymns carry a theological depth and poetic richness that much of today’s worship music has forgotten. They were written to teach, to form the soul, to hold up in suffering. Their lyrics don’t shy away from grief, judgment, or awe.
By returning to these texts, Heaven’s Dave seeks to reconnect listeners with the doctrines that hold up across centuries—grace, the cross, eternity, repentance, resurrection, and rest.
Why Only Voice and Guitar?
There’s something sacred in simplicity.
These songs are meant for stillness—for journaling, meditation, long drives, or dim sanctuary corners. The acoustic guitar work is intentionally intricate, often drawing inspiration from artists like Dave Matthews—layered and expressive without ever getting in the way.
By stripping the arrangement down to just two elements, the listener is invited to focus on the words again. The theology. The heart.
The Mission
Heaven’s Dave exists for the listener who’s been overwhelmed by volume, and undernourished by lyrics.
For the pastor preparing a sermon.
For the worship leader looking for songs with weight.
For the believer seeking peace in the quiet places.
For the homeschool family looking to add hymn study.
To revive hymns.
To renew wonder.
To make space for real worship again.
